Circular of Information for the Use of Human Blood and Blood Components – June 2024 (Set of 50)

Prepared by AABB, American Red Cross, America’s Blood Centers, and the Armed Services Blood Program, this Circular is an extension of the container label and recognized as acceptable by the FDA. The FDA has detailed how the Circular in brochure format is to be used as well as the conditions under which the Circular on USB drive can be used. The Circular describes available components, actions, indications, contraindications, dosage and administration, side effects and hazards. Included is a comprehensive but concise table summarizing indications, benefits, and precautions for blood. The Circular also provides several blank pages where facilities should stamp or adhere updated language required by the FDA.
