Program Description: This program is designed to define platelet refractoriness, detail common laboratory values associated with refractoriness, and recognize these in the context of a patient case. In addition, distinguish platelet refractoriness from other common platelet issues. This program will be a lecture-based presentation interlaced with case studies to demonstrate relevant laboratory and clinical findings.
