AABB educates policymakers, and develops and advances legislative, regulatory and other policy solutions intended to ensure that patients have access to safe blood transfusions and biotherapies. The Association develops proactive policy solutions and responds to proposals that impact the transfusion medicine and biotherapies community.
AABB provides feedback on draft guidances, proposed regulations and potential research priorities relevant to transfusion medicine and cellular therapies.
AABB collaborates with other membership organizations, professional societies and patient advocacy groups to create strategic alliances that engage elected officials to create meaningful change for donors and patients.
