Terumo BCT, Anothony Nolan Partner for UK Stem Cell Collection Center

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, an AABB corporate partner, will supply its Spectra Optia Apheresis Systems to Anthony Nolan, the British stem cell charity, for use at the new Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Center in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Opening in the coming months, the center will collaborate with the National Institute for Health and Care Research Nottingham Clinical Research Facility at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. It will complement Anthony Nolan’s existing facilities in Nottingham, including the Cell Therapy Center at Nottingham Trent University's Clifton campus, which features an umbilical cord blood bank and a research facility focused on cord blood treatments.
