CMS Seeks Nominations for Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Advisory Committee

The MEDCAC’s membership includes experts in clinical medicine, public health, epidemiology and patient advocacy, among other specialties, who evaluate medical literature, technology assessments and public testimony on select clinical topics. The committee also provides guidance to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the CMS administrator to support Medicare coverage decisions.
