AABB extends its congratulations to the recently awarded early-career laboratory education scholarship recipients. AABB awarded 154 early-career laboratory professionals with complimentary access to a blood and biotherapies education course of their choosing. The award of this scholarship was made possible through a generous grant from Abbott.
AABB is dedicated to building a strong and sustainable workforce for the blood and biotherapies field and to promoting professionals’ expertise and knowledge. To further that commitment, AABB is providing education scholarships to early-career laboratorians. Applicants are required to have seven or fewer years of experience working in a laboratory. Because professional development is most successful when individuals have management support, we also ask that all applicants have the support of their supervisor when applying.
Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to access and earn continuing education credit for one of four AABB educational programs at no charge:

AABB thanks Abbott for their generous grant support of workforce development initiatives.
