AABB Releases 2023 Annual Meeting Schedule

AABB invites members of the blood and biotherapies community to view the schedule for the 2023 AABB Annual Meeting, which will take place Oct. 14-17 in Nashville, Tenn. The schedule outlines the full education program for the 2023 Meeting, which features 109 education sessions on the most critical topics in blood banking, transfusion medicine and biotherapies.

Can't-miss sessions this year include those addressing the use of whole blood in civilian transfusion, workforce development and staffing challenges, blood transfusion in the hospice setting, ethical considerations for directed blood donations, clinical centers as partners in advanced cell and gene therapy, and much more. This year’s program also features perennial Annual Meeting favorites like “Solve It! Scenarios in Cellular Therapy,” “Test Your Blood Bank Knowledge,” “Blood Bank Guy Essentials LIVE!” and – for the final time – the “Wizardry School of Antigens and Antibodies.”

In addition, the Annual Meeting website includes AABB awards and lectureships, AABB Foundation events, networking opportunities and exhibit hall information.

AABB also reminds the community that early-bird registration for the Annual Meeting ends July 19. Attendees who register by July 19 will save $140+ on the registration cost.
