AABB Encourages Early-Career Members to Connect With a Mentor in 2024

AABB encourages new and early-career members to elevate their professional development in the new year by connecting with an experienced mentor through the AABB Mentoring Program. This informal, six-month program pairs seasoned members of the blood and biotherapies community with colleagues who have worked in the field for less than five years. Mentors and mentees communicate at least once per month by phone.

The program is an ideal way for early-career professionals to gain knowledge and form connections that will add value throughout their careers. For mentors, the program offers opportunities to share expertise, support the next generation of leaders in the field, expand professional networks and exchange ideas with early-career colleagues.

Individuals interested in being paired with a mentor can complete an online application. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Additional information is available online.
