AABB Releases 2024 Annual Meeting Schedule

AABB invites members of the blood and biotherapies community to view the schedule for the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting, which will take place Oct. 19-22 in Houston, Texas. The schedule outlines the full education program for the 2024 meeting, which features more than 100 education sessions on the most critical topics in blood banking, transfusion medicine and biotherapies.

Can't-miss sessions this year focus on liberal versus restrictive transfusion strategies in acute myocardial infarction, proposed blood banking legislation, blood tracking and mass casualty events, and disaster preparedness. This year’s program also features perennial Annual Meeting favorites like “Solve It! Scenarios in Apheresis and Cellular Therapy,” “Ultimate Test Your Blood Bank Knowledge 2024,” “Blood Bank Guy Essentials LIVE!” and a new twist on an old favorite – the “Lord of the Antibodies.”

In addition, the Annual Meeting website includes AABB awards and lectureships, AABB Foundation events, networking opportunities and Exhibit Hall information.

AABB also reminds the community that early bird registration for the Annual Meeting ends July 24. Attendees who register by July 24 will save more than $280 on the full-meeting registration rate.
