AABB24: AABB Accepting Questions for 'Ask the Standards' Annual Meeting Session

AABB encourages members to submit questions for the "Ask the Standards" session at the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting, taking place Oct. 19-22 in Houston, Texas. 

In this session, representatives from AABB’s standards committees will provide attendees with an overview of new and changed standards to the forthcoming 12th edition of Standards for Cellular Therapy Services and first edition of Standards for Scheduled Out-of-Hospital and Emergency Prehospital Transfusion Administration Services.

Additionally, the chair of the Blood Banks and Transfusion Services (BB/TS) Standards Committee will answer audience questions related to the 34th edition of Standards for Blood Banks and Transfusion Services as needed, which took effect April 1.

To submit a question to "Ask the Standards," attendees should send an email with their question to standards@aabb.org. The deadline to submit questions is Friday, Sept. 20.
