IHN Launches Traceability Survey

November 05, 2024

The International Haemovigilance Network (IHN), in collaboration with the haemovigilance working party of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) and Serious Hazards of Transfusion (SHOT UK), are collecting data about traceability practices around the world.

IHN is interested in understanding existing regulations, practices, staff training provided, audits and related information about traceability – the ability to trace any given blood product from donor to recipient and from recipient to donor. Follow the IHN Traceability survey link to complete the survey.

The survey consists of multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary. For more information, please contact IHN at secretariat@ihn-org.com, ISBT at drgpatidar@gmail.com or SHOT at SHOT@nhsbt.nhs.uk.
