AABB is pleased to announce the Association’s participation in the
14th Pan-Arab Transfusion Medicine Conference With Quality Systems Workshop, taking place Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 in Doha, Qatar. The conference – hosted by Hamad Medical Corporation, an AABB institutional member – aims to advance transfusion medicine practices by addressing region-specific challenges, sharing the latest advancements and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Christine Bales, BS, MT, I(ASCP), CQA (ASQ), AABB’s vice president, global impact, and Asawari (Asa) Bapat, MBBS, DPB, PGDHHM, CABP(H), an
AABB consultant and global expert in clinical and medical affairs, will lead a workshop on Sunday, Dec. 1. The workshop will focus on quality systems for blood centers and transfusion services, auditing principles, accreditation and certification.
