Advanced Therapies Week: AABB to Host Fireside Chat on Sustainable Donor Sourcing

AABB will host a fireside chat titled Ensuring Sustainable Donor Sourcing for Advanced Therapies during Phacilitate’s Advanced Therapies Week, taking place Jan. 20-23 in Dallas. This session will explore issues surrounding the sourcing of starting materials for allogeneic advanced therapies and the practices needed to maintain donor sustainability.

The discussion, co-led by Jeff Wren, vice president of biotherapies at AABB, and Priya R. Baraniak, a biotech founder and expert in allogeneic cell therapy, will take place 5-6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The session will emphasize the critical role of donor education and transparency in supporting the scaling needs of advanced therapies. Attendees will also gain actionable recommendations for donor engagement and industry insights to inform advanced therapy development.
