2023 Annual Meeting Begins Saturday; Online Registration Still Available

October 11, 2023

Online registration is still available for the 2023 AABB Annual Meeting, which begins Saturday in Nashville. Returning in person for the first time since 2019, the field’s premier education and networking event delivers the high-quality educational content that attendees have come to expect from AABB.

This year’s program includes 106 expert-led sessions focused on the most pressing topics in blood and biotherapies and 77 oral abstract presentations across 19 oral abstract sessions. AABB is also pleased to welcome back this year’s 124 exhibitors, who are eager to share the latest products and services with attendees in the Exhibit Hall and corporate-sponsored education events.

Exciting new additions and enhancements await attendees at the 2023 Annual Meeting, including three new abstract spotlight sessions, a mock grant review, the in-person debut of curated poster tours and the highly anticipated return of the specialist in blood banking (SBB) exam review. Additionally, the Biotherapies Pavilion, located within the exhibit hall, offers biotherapies companies fresh opportunities to connect with key audience members during the event.

The 2023 Annual Meeting also marks several notable milestones for the blood and biotherapies community. AABB will present the inaugural Landsteiner-Alter Award, renamed in 2021 to honor the field’s two Nobel laureates. The AABB Foundation will also celebrate 40 years of grantmaking at the 2023 Party With a Purpose, taking place on Friday.

Registration options are flexible, with both full-meeting or daily registration available. Those with questions may contact meetings@aabb.org.
