Next Global Transfusion Webcast to Focus on Patient Blood Management

AABB is pleased to announce that the next edition of the AABB Global Transfusion Webcast will take place at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

In this episode, guest experts David Bishop, MBChB, DA, FCA, PhD, and Robert Wise, MBChB, Dip Obst, Dip PEC, FCA, MMed, will join hosts Quentin G. Eichbaum, MD, PhD, MPH, MFA, MA, MSc, MMHC, FCAP, and Daniela Hermelin, MD, CABP, for a conversation that explores evidence-based decision making and blood management.

Each episode of the Global Transfusion Webcast explores a different chapter from the 2023 AABB publication Global Perspectives and Practices in Transfusion Medicine, which was edited by Eichbaum.

AABB invites transfusion medicine professionals from around the world to join the webcast, which will take place via Zoom. Following the livestream event, AABB will publish the recording on its YouTube channel.
