Claiming CE/CME Credit

Access for attendees to claim credit for recorded sessions ended on November 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm (ET).

On November 22, 2024, registered Annual Meeting attendees will receive access to the on-demand sessions for the days in which they were registered via the AABB Education Platform (content viewing only). Access is available through December 31, 2026. To continue to earn CE/CME credits for sessions not accessed via the AABB Annual Meeting website, registered attendees must have added the Annual Meeting On-Demand package to their registration (not available for daily registrants).

Alternatively, AABB offers the opportunity to pay per session or purchase a package to earn CE/CME credits through the Annual Meeting On-Demand Store. If interested in the full access CE/CME package, please contact eLearning@aabb.org to receive the meeting attendee promocode for the reduced price of $259/$309 (member/nonmember).

On November 22, access to Annual Meeting sessions will be available in the "My Learning Programs" section of the AABB Education Platform. These sessions can also be accessed and viewed via the Annual Meeting On-Demand Store. An AABB username and password must be used to view sessions (not Annual Meeting registration ID).

Steps to claim CE/CME credits from attending the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting

Step 1: Log into the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting Website or Mobile App.

Log in using the email you used to register for the meeting and your confirmation/reg ID (found on your badge and in your meeting confirmation email).

Go to the CE/CME Information section and select “Claiming CE/CME Credit”. In that section you will find the link to access the evaluations.

Step 2: Access the Evaluations

After completing “Step 1”, you will be directed to AABB’s Education Platform.

Log in using your AABB username and password (not your registration ID).
If you do not know your AABB username or password, follow the links under the log in block to obtain.

Step 3: Select the Evaluations

Once logged in, scroll through the list of evaluations to find the sessions you attended or watched.

You can use the navigation on the left-hand side to filter sessions by day. To filter only on-demand sessions, select "On-Demand" under "Tracks" on the left-hand navigation or select "Wednesday, October 23, 2024" under "Dates".

Choose the correct suffix:

“-L” for sessions you attended live in person.
“-O” for recorded sessions you watch online.

Step 4: Complete Session Evaluations

You can only complete one “-L” live session evaluation per timeslot (unless a session spans over more than one concurrent session set and then you will only be permitted to complete one eval over the two or more concurrent session blocks).
If you watch a recorded session online, fill out the evaluation with the “-O” suffix.
Daily registrants will only have access to evaluations for the day(s) registered.
Limited Virtual Access registrants will have access to the sessions provided as part of the package.
AABB recommends completing evaluations after each session while the content is fresh in your mind.

Step 5: Complete Overall Meeting Evaluation

After finishing at least one session evaluation, complete the overall meeting evaluation (located at the top of the session evaluation listing).
You’ll need this to generate your transcript/certificate.

Step 6: Submit Before the Deadline

Submit all evaluations by November 21, 2024, at 2pm ET.
After this deadline, you will no longer be able to claim continuing education credit.

FAQs on Claiming Meeting Credits

How long will I have access to the sessions to claim credits?

Full-meeting, in-person attendees will have access to all recorded sessions from October 19 to November 21, 2024 at 2pm ET.

Daily in-person attendees will have access to the sessions from the day(s) for which they were registered from October 19 to November 21, 2024 at 2pm ET.

Limited Virtual Meeting attendees will have access to the 15 sessions included with this registration during the same time period, ending on November 21, 2024 at 2pm ET.

I don’t see any evaluations when I log in?

It may be that you registered for the Annual Meeting using a different email than your AABB account or if registering onsite there may be a delay in when access is provided.

How do I get a transcript showing my CE/CME credits?

Follow the steps above to complete evaluations for each session you attended/watched. Complete the overall meeting evaluation to generate your transcript/certificate. Your transcript/certificate will also be available via the “My Transcripts” section of the AABB Education Platform.

Evaluations must be completed by 2pm ET, November 21, 2024.

How can I obtain a Certificate of Attendance?

For those that simply need a certificate verifying attendance (no CE/CME credits), a certificate of attendance will be available via the AABB Education Platform.

Can I earn CE/CME credits for going to the poster sessions?

Continuing education credit is not available for poster sessions or guided poster tours. All programs/sessions that are eligible for continuing education credit are noted as such.
